New Delhi, Dec 06 (ANI): Delhi government's preliminary inquiry found Shalimar Bagh's Max Hospital guilty in the infant death case. The report suggested that the doctors had not conducted electrocardiography to check whether the babies it declared dead were still alive or not. This was against the prescribed norms for dealing with newborns. The infant was declared dead by Max Hospital of Shalimar Bagh. But the baby showed signs of life, while the family was taking him to the cremation ground. Health Minister Satyendar Jain ordered a probe on December 1. The committee will submit its final report to Jain later this week. The Shalimar Bagh facility of Max Hospital had terminated the services of two doctors on Sunday. Meanwhile, parents and members of Delhi Saansi Samaj are protesting outside Max Hospital demanding strict actions to be taken in this regard.
