Jalpaiguri (West Bengal), Dec 19 (ANI): Forest officers of Belacoba range under Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal seized 8-feet long leopard skin. Two Nepal nationals and one Indian citizen have also been arrested from Bhaktinagar area in Siliguri. According to Ranger of Belacoba forest range Sanjay Dutta, these persons wanted to smuggle a leopard skin to Nepal, but failed. The team of the forest officers intercepted them at Bhaktinagar area in Siliguri and seized the leopard skin which was kept in a travel bag. After the examination the forest officers also found several bullet injuries on the leopard skin. Leopard skin is in huge demand in China and other Asian countries for showcasing and other usage.
