Peanut Brittle Ingredients Peanut - 1 cup Jaggery - 1 cup Ghee - 2 tbsp Method: 1. In a pan Roast the fresh peanuts to remove the skin. You can skip this step, if you're using roasted peanuts. 2. Once the peanuts are roasted, turn off the stove, wait till it cools down and remove the peanut skin. Rub them between the palms to remove the peanut skin. 3. Next, take a little water in a pot, add jaggery to melt it. 4. Grease the tray with a little ghee. 5. Filter the melted jaggery into the pan. Now, we need to get the perfect caramel. Continue cooking and stirring the syrup. 6. To check the consistency of syrup, take a cup of water, put a drop of the jaggery syrup in it. If it turns hard and breaks with a snap, then it means that the jaggery syrup is ready. Turn off the flame. 7. Next. add the roasted peanuts, gently mix it and remove it quickly. Transfer it to greased plate and flatten it. 8. Wait till it has cooled down and cut it. Your Peanut Brittle is ready.
