Masala Puffed Rice Ingredients Puffed Rice - 200 gms Broken Chana dal - 1/4 cup Roasted Peanuts - 1/4 cup Garlic - 3 cloves (crushed) A few Curry leaves Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Chilli powder - 2 tsp Salt to taste Ghee - 3 tbsp Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp Method: 1. In a wide pan, add ghee, broken chana dal and roast it for about 2 minutes. 2. Then add roasted peanuts, curry leaves & crushed garlic. Roast it for 2 mins, add puffed rice and mix it. 3. Keep the flame on low, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, asafoetida powder and gently mix it. 4. Let it roast for a few minutes and then finally add a tsp of ghee.
