Patna, Oct 23 (ANI): Janata Dal (United) leader Bhim Singh on Friday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), ahead of the third phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. Bhim Singh, a self-proclaimed socialist, joined the BJP in the presence of state party president Mangal Pandey and senior leader Sushil Modi at the party office in Patna. The third, fourth and fifth phases of polling will be held on October 28, November 1 and November 5 respectively. The counting of votes will take place on November 8. The RJD, JD (U) and Congress are contesting the polls under the grand alliance to ensure that the BJP-led NDA doesn't achieve majority in the state.
