New Delhi, Nov 01 (ANI): Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Sunday clarified his statement on first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Rijiju said that Congress should not be intolerant in accepting facts about history. He also said that the future generations should be aware of country’s true history. Rijiju recalled Nehru’s statements during Indo-China war in 1962 when Chinese troops had captured majority portion of Assam (now Arunachal Pradesh). He the recalled that when Chinese aggression took place in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh, Nehru said in the Parliament that nothing grows in the region of Ladakh and Arunachal so not to waste time on it. He added that the people of Arunachal are nationalists and they never say that they want to part from India. Rijiju stood firm that Jawaharlal Nehru had caused great heartburn to the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
