Guwahati, Dec 08 (ANI): Twelve BJP MLAs, who were suspended for the five-day Winter Session by Speaker Pranab Gogoi yesterday for disobeying his ruling and creating noisy scenes, staged a protest outside the Assam Assembly on Tuesday. Nine other Congress MLAs were also suspended from the Assembly for similar reasons. Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said that the MLAs just want to create some sort of disturbance in the assembly. Just before the beginning of the Question Hour on the first day of the session, the Speaker gave the ruling that all the BJP members and those from Congress have been suspended from the House for the entire Winter Session. Earlier, when the House assembled, BJP MLA Jadav Chandra Deka demanded scrapping of the Question Hour and holding of a discussion on the "deteriorating law and order situation" in the state. When the Speaker did not accept Deka's demand, the BJP MLAs stood up started shouting in his support. The BJP MLAs then rushed to the Well of the House and pressed the Speaker with their demand, which finally led to their suspension.
