New Delhi, Dec 17 (ANI): BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday said there is no question of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley resigning from his post because unfounded charges were being levelled against him by the Congress Party and the Aam Aadmi Party. Naidu said Jaitley is an honest person and raising the issue of his involvement in a DDCA scam was very absurd, as he had no connection with it at all. He also said that the Congress and other parties are trying to divert the attention from Delhi CBI case and added that the Congress is trying to find an excuse like every time. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the AAP was hiding their own faults through their allegations. He warned that their hit and run policies will cost them when they are unmasked. He also said Jaitleys resignation would not happen. The Congress, meanwhile, has demanded the setting up of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe into the alleged irregularities in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) involving Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Congress leader Ajay Maken on Wednesday said 'Jaitley should resign from his post for a fair and impartial probe'.
