Kuala Lumpur/Tokyo, Apr 26 (ANI): In modern-day life, the people prefer to eat healthy and stay fit. Many health-conscious people globally prefer to use seasonings, cooking oils and sweeteners made by Japan’s Ajinomoto Company. Founded in 1917 by Dr. Kikunae Ikeda, a Japanese scientist the company forayed into Malaysian market in 1961. Since then Ajinomoto Malaysia has been an active player not only in business by continuously creating new products, but also in serving the local communities’ needs. In 2011, on Ajinomoto Malaysia’s 50th anniversary, the company initiated the ‘1909 Infosium’ program. By introducing the concept of Umami, the focus of the program was to contribute to regional cuisines with the resources and knowhow of the Ajinomoto Group. Not only food, Japan lay stress on healthcare. At the International Technical Exhibition of Medical Imaging 2016 latest medical imaging equipments and accessories were showcased. Shimadzu Corp., the pioneer in radiological equipments also participated in the event. With its 141 years of history, Shimadzu Corp. successfully took X-ray images 11 months after Dr. Röntgen discovering X-Ray in 1895. In 1911, the company became affiliated with Otsu Red Cross hospital and ever since the company has been providing support in medical field.
