Nepal, Apr 28 (ANI): A coalition of 27 parties presented a 26-point memorandum to district administration offices, while the chairman of Terai-Madhes Loktantrik Party, Purshottam Jha, submitted a memorandum to the Chief District Officer, Anuj Bhandari. Workers and leaders of Madhesi Morcha took out a peaceful march from Ghantaghar in Birgunj to the district administration office. Leaders also warned that if the government does not entertain their memorandum, they will launch massive protests. Madhesis are demanding equal representation and rights for Dalits, Muslims and tribesmen. This time the Madhesi movement will be centred around Singh –darbar. Madheshis feel they have been denied basic rights. With the new phase of their movement, they hope to achieve all they want through negotiations with the government.
