New Delhi, July 3 (ANI): Internationally acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan is hardly spotted at glittering award events as he feels receiving ‘partial’ awards is a shame. The actor says he only respects awards and honours like the National Award and Padma Shri, but film awards hold no importance for him. The actor, in a recent interview, said the awards are meaningful only when they are genuine and if they are not then there is no sense in feeling pride in receiving them. He says it is hard for him to understand that how people do not feel ashamed in receiving awards as they know that they have exercised a kind of lobbying. Currently, Irrfan is busy promoting his forthcoming film ‘Madaari’.
