New Delhi, Oct 04 (ANI): Asserting that defence and security are the key pillars of the strategic partnership between India and Singapore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that the two nations have agreed to enhance cooperation to counter any threats. Adding that terrorism, cross border terrorism and radicalism are grave challenges to society, Prime Minister Modi emphasised on the need for standing and acting together to battle the menace. Prime Minister Modi and Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong were addressing a joint press conference in the national capital. Both led their sides in delegation-level talks and signed three Memoranda of Understanding. Loong is on a five-day official visit to India.
