Video Description

New Delhi, Apr 21 (ANI): Proving herself to be one of the finest actors of the industry, ravishing Raveena Tandon is back again on the silver screen with a revenge thriller, 'Maatr', which is based on a strong-willed mother, who is out to get justice for the death of her daughter. With her upcoming film getting allegedly banned by Central Board of Film Certification, it has undoubtedly not gone down well with Raveena Tandon as she has hit back at the board saying she believes that one needs to upgrade the certification process. Describing her take over 'A' certification, Raveena said that she believes if a movie has been given 'A' certificate then it clearly means that it is for adults and so cuts are not needed. Adding more, she said that nowadays, people are taking law in their hands and when one tries to show reality then they aren't allowed. For the unversed, reports were doing rounds that 'Maatr' has been banned by CBFC and the reason behind this was the film's violent rape scenes. Ashtar Sayed directed 'Maatr' is an upcoming Indian revenge thriller, written by Michael Pellico and is slated to release on April 21.
