New Delhi, May 05 (ANI): With just few weeks left for the release of ' Sachin: A billion Dreams,' a biopic on the life of great Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, the makers are leaving nothing to chance, making sure everything looks realistic. About 300 kids auditioned to recreate the portions of the film which featured Sachin during his younger days in the movie. The main criteria for the selection was that the candidate had to look close to the younger version of Sachin, and that he should also be able to adapt his mannerisms with ease and conviction. Mikhail Gandhi was chosen to essay the role of the young cricketing legend, among the children who were screen-tested. The Master Blaster was very mischievous and some of the many pranks he pulled on his buddies have been recreated for this bio-drama. The movie captures the cricket and personal life aspect of the master blaster in detail, which have never been heard of or seen before. The movie is produced by Ravi Bhagchandka of ‘200 Not Out’ and Shrikant Bhasi of Carnival Motion Pictures, the movie is helmed by Emmy-nominated James Erskine. ' Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is all set to release on 26th May.
