Sambalpur (Odisha), May 24 (ANI): In the row of increasing deaths of animals amid scorching heat wave, yet another case was reported from Odisha's Sambalpur. On Tuesday, an elephant was found dead under the Rengali Forest Range. A forest official informed that the animal succumbed due to heat stroke following scarcity of drinking water. The elephant's body was later sent for a post-mortem. Several cases of the deaths of fauna have been reported from across the nation as the mercury has risen above 40 degrees Celsius in most parts.
