1993 Mumbai Blasts Case: 5 Convicted Under Conspiracy Activities, 1 Under Section 3 Of Tada Act
Mumbai, June 16 (ANI): The Special Terrorism and Disruptive Activities Act (TADA) Court on Friday pronounced its long pending decision in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. Out of seven, the court found six guilty of conspiracy and murder activities in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case. Meanwhile, Abdul Qayyum has been acquitted of all charges. Special CBI Counsel Deepak Salve said the convicts held a conspiracy to revenge the demolition of Babri Masjid and mainly to target the Hindu population of the country by creating riots. He further said that the five accused were convicted for conspiracy and murder activities in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case where one was convicted under section 3 of TADA act.
