Srinagar (J and K), June 22 (ANI): Hundreds of students from various educational institutions participated in a Naat competition during the holy month of Ramadan in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar. The programme was aimed to aware the future generation of Kashmir about the humanity, brotherhood and peace, the core teachings of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).The purpose of the competition was to pay tributes to Holy Prophet through Islamic poetry and also make aware youth about such type of religious activities. During the holy month of Ramadan, various conferences, including reciting Quran competitions and Naat competitions were held. Students hailed the programme organisers for their efforts to make it a successful event, which was aimed to show their hidden talent and promote the poetry of Kashmir. Chairman of Kashmir Society International, Farooq Renzu Shah emphasised to the youth to strengthen their understanding and revive the atmosphere of mutual love and brotherhood in the valley. The programme was organized by Kashmir society in association with the Angel's cultural academy.
