Darjeeling (West Bengal), July 03 (ANI): The indefinite strike called by the supporters of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) in Darjeeling entered its 25th day on Monday. The effect of the shutdown could be observed on the streets as the markets were completely closed. However, the people of the area are still determined and are demanding a separate state of 'Gorkhaland'. Meanwhile, boarding schools in the region have also extended their vacation till 6th July in view of the ongoing strike. Earlier, many vehicles were set ablaze in the hill town by the GJM supporters to mark their protest. The people are also protesting against the alleged imposition of Bengali language in the schools
