Malpua Ingredients For Malpua Batter All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup (250 ml) [Buy:] Unsweetened Khoa/Mawa - 3 tsp [Buy:] Fennel seeds - 1 tsp Water For Sugar syrup Water - 1 cup (250 ml) Sugar - 1 cup (250 ml) Milk - 2 tsp Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp Oil for frying For Garnish Rabdi/rabri [Recipe link:] Chopped Pistachios [Buy:] Saffron Method: Making Malpua Batter: 1. Mix all purpose flour/maida and unsweetened khoa/mawa. 2. Add fennel seeds and mix it with flour. 3. Gradually add water and mix to a thick flowing batter. 4. Ferment the batter for 12 hours. Making Sugar Syrup: 1. In a pot heat water and add sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar. 2. Add milk to remove the scum. 3. Strain the sugar syrup. Add cardamom powder for flavoring. Making Malpua: 1. Heat oil in a wide pan. 2. Gently pour the batter. Flip them and fry till it turns crisp and golden color. 3. Now add the fried malpua to the sugar syrup. 4.
